European Youth Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships 2024 concluded in Prague

The 2024 European Youth Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships officially concluded yesterday in Prague, Czech Republic.

With the participation of 650 players coming from 40 European federations, the event broke the participation record. The Closing ceremony of the event took place yesterday evening, with the attendance of the ECU President Mr. Zurab Azmaiparashvili who took part in the awards for the winners.

The first event on the schedule was the European Youth Rapid Chess Championship 2024 which took place on 17-18 August. The Championship was played in 6 age categories: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18 (open and girls sections separately) and the Winners and medalists are:

The European Youth Blitz Chess Championship 2024 took place on 19 and 20 of August in the same venue of the ****Hotel Top Praha. The event was played in 9 double rounds (swiss system), in 6 age categories: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18, open and girls sections separately and the winners and medalists are:
