Ukraine wins the first Youth Online Nations League

European Chess Union in cooperation with the English Chess Federation launched the new competition this year – Youth Online Nations League. The event was played from 17 January – 13 March, in 9 rounds, with the participation of 10 teams represented by more than 100 players.

Ukraine Debut Chess School triumphed in the event scoring all nine victories and 18 match points. The composition of the Winning team:

  12. Yana Marusyn (1354), GU14 player

Losing only to the Winners team, England A scored 16 match points and clinched silver medal in the tournament.

England B team won bronze with the score of 12 match points.

The ECU E-medals were sent to the Winners, and all the teams received the certificate of participation.
